Alnewa was founded as a joint venture by the two companies Elex<\/a> and oxytec<\/a>. This means that two areas of expertise complement each other:<\/p>\n

oxytec is the leading European specialist for air purification systems based on UV and plasma processes. In industrial applications, the energy-intensive thermal post-combustion with fossil gas can be avoided with these so-called \u201cadvanced electrified exhaust air solutions\u201d. The savings in energy and CO\u2082 are enormous: 9 kW of fossil energy are replaced by 1 kW of regenerative electrical energy. CO\u2082 emissions are reduced by up to 98%.<\/p>\n

oxytec has many years of experience with the transformation to fossil-free solutions across numerous industries and processes \u2013 such as applications from food production, coating and battery recycling. The company has a long-term partnership with the Swiss university OST and is working with Professor Dr. Andre Heel to further develop plasma technology.<\/p>\n

Following inquiries from the cement industry, oxytec decided to work together with Elex AG. The specialist for cleaning waste gas from the cement industry knows the specific requirements of this sector particularly well.<\/p>\n

Elex is a specialist in waste gas purification, while oxytec specialises in exhaust air purification. Elex is very good at removing suspended particles from industrial waste gases and can also remove gaseous components in some cases. oxytec is able to remove even the finest contaminants such as germs, odours or household toxins from the air.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

La technique du plasma est si efficace parce qu’elle concentre extr\u00eamement l’\u00e9nergie utilis\u00e9e. Elle fonctionne ainsi avec une fraction de l’\u00e9nergie utilis\u00e9e par les m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles de purification de l’air comme la postcombustion thermique.<\/p>\n

Il \u00e9tait donc logique de l’appliquer \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me cl\u00e9 de l’humanit\u00e9 et de l’utiliser pour d\u00e9composer le CO\u2082. Des essais dans notre installation d’essai ont montr\u00e9 que cela fonctionne.<\/p>\n

C’est pourquoi Alnewa veut recycler les mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res contenues dans le dioxyde de carbone et les rendre utilisables dans des processus industriels.<\/p>\n

Un avantage particulier de cette technologie est la puret\u00e9 des produits de r\u00e9action g\u00e9n\u00e9r\u00e9s, qui peuvent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans diff\u00e9rentes industries. L’objectif de r\u00e9duction du CO\u2082 peut ainsi \u00eatre atteint plus rapidement et un refinancement au moins partiel des installations peut \u00eatre obtenu.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Alnewa est une jeune entreprise avec une grande id\u00e9e. Les entreprises qui se trouvent derri\u00e8re apportent leurs comp\u00e9tences, leurs relations clients de longue date et leurs ressources. Cela permet de s’assurer que l’id\u00e9e ne reste pas lettre morte.<\/p>\n

C’est justement l’exp\u00e9rience acquise dans la production de ciment qui a pouss\u00e9 les fondateurs \u00e0 planifier l’installation pilote dans ce secteur industriel. En effet, cette activit\u00e9 g\u00e9n\u00e8re une quantit\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement importante de CO\u2082 – non seulement \u00e0 partir des gaz de combustion, mais aussi \u00e0 partir des mati\u00e8res \u00e0 cuire.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
